The Peninsula Club: Golf, Racquets & Membership
The Peninsula Club in Cornelius is a country-club membership destination, not a public boat-rental facility or an open-access lakeside park. Its setting on Lake Norman can make a listing appear relevant to several kinds of outing, so establish the access arrangements for the activity you want before making travel plans.

Check the current golf experience
The club's current website identifies Beau Welling as the designer of its newly opened golf course. Older directory descriptions may still emphasize an earlier course design. When comparing the club, use its current golf information rather than treating an older description as a guide to the course played today.
Ask the membership or golf team about current access, guest arrangements, instruction, and any requirements for a hosted round. A directory listing does not establish public tee-time availability, and the lakefront setting does not imply that visitors can arrive and play without prior arrangements.
Tennis and pickleball for different ages
The Peninsula Club describes tennis and pickleball programs for adults and juniors of different playing levels. If racquets are your main interest, ask about the current mix of lessons, clinics, organized play, and court reservations rather than comparing the club only on its golf course.
A household considering membership should explain who will use the programs and how often. Confirm program costs, eligibility, seasonal schedules, and guest participation directly; those details are not established by the general amenities overview.
Arrange a membership visit in Cornelius
The club publishes its address as 19101 Peninsula Club Drive, Cornelius, NC 28031 and lists a membership contact through its official website. Arrange the visit with the club, then confirm parking, arrival instructions, and who may accompany you.
Use the visit to compare the activities your household would use regularly, not just the amenities that look appealing in photographs. Ask for the current membership categories, applicable fees, guest rules, and any availability or waitlist information in writing. This guide does not quote initiation fees or promise membership availability.
